Competitive Program Overview

The Hurricanes hold a long tradition in producing many League & Tournament Champions. The Competitive Program is for players and coaches that want to compete and train at the highest levels. Teams are selected each season through a "tryout" process. Players that excel in the Recreation Program are placed on an All Star Recreation team to compete in the Treasure Coast World Cup and Treasure Coast DPL League. These players are also invited to tryout for our Competitive Program.

The Competitive Program follows a pathway of development to ensure the growth and development of our players and teams. Competitive teams travel and compete all over the State in various Leagues and Tournaments. The Competitive Program tryouts take place in May each year. The competitive season typically starts early August and runs through late May.  Competitive teams typically train two-three times per week with league games and tournaments on Saturday and Sundays. Each Coach will tailor a cost breakdown at each years tryouts, outlining the projected pathway the team will follow for the season.

The focus of the PSL Hurricanes and the Competitive Program is the continued development of its players and coaches through systematic training directed at each players growth. Coaches will ID players to participate in events outside the Club i.e.  - ODP (Olympic Development Program), local High School tryouts (JV & Varsity), College Prep Camps, ID Clinics and Showcase Tournaments. The Hurricanes are dedicated to the players future and commitment to grow and develop on and off the pitch.
