Recreational Soccer Seasonal Programs:

The Port St. Lucie Soccer Club has been serving the youth of St Lucie County for over 30 years.

For the PSL Soccer Seasons, players are responsible for shin guards, ball and cleats/athletic shoes.  For the Fall Season each player will get a complete uniform consisting of: Jersey, Socks and Shorts. For the Spring Season each player will get a Jersey only and will be responsible for the socks and shorts, many players that participated in the Fall Season will wear their socks and shorts for Spring. The Registration Fee covers the cost of the uniform, referee fees, insurance and administrative fees. Players are selected to teams via a "blind draft" so teams are not stacked, every player registered is placed on a team. Special requests can be made at the time of registration but are not gauranteed. Teams will practice on a Monday / Wednesday or Friday evening depending on the coaches choice. A complete list of practice times and days will be available once the teams are made and coaches are placed on them. Below you will find some brief info on Recreation Soccer if you 're new to the sport or the Port St Lucie Soccer Club. If you are new to the area, making a decision on where to play and what sport to try can be daunting. Soccer is a game for all ages and we hope that here at the Port St Lucie Soccer Club we can satisfy your needs.

Recreation Soccer is just what that name implies. There's no emphasis on "Win at all cost" and all players have equal playing time. This program is not like the Competitive / Select program where players are picked from try outs. Recreation Soccer places all players on teams regardless of skill level so everyone plays. The fees are less than Competitive Soccer and while there may be some travel for Recreation Soccer depending if the Club plays "In-House" or in the Treasure Coast Soccer League, the costs are far less. Players that excel in the Recreation level will be encouraged to participate in our Allstar Program where teams of equal skill levels compete with other neighboring clubs, from there players may be asked to try out for a Competitive team. This is totally based on the players abilities and commitment to travel and extended months of training. For the Fall and Spring Season, Micro games are played on Friday nights and their Season concludes with an awards ceremony and end of season party. For U8 through High School, the games are played on Saturdays starting at 9:00am and finish by 1:00pm. Each season ends with a mini-tournament played on the last day of the season.

The Fall Season usually begins in late August and runs through the 1st week of December for a 10 week season. The Spring Season usually starts in March and runs to late May ending before Memorial Day.
